The Kitchen Manager role at Famous Dave's is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and training employees on all aspects of restaurant operations, with a particular focus on kitchen staff and operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in restaurant management, hospitality or culinary or minimum 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Completion of Management Training Program if internally promoted
  • Experience in front of house and back of house management preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead diverse teams

  • Knowledge of P&L, budgeting and inventory

Job Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year degree in restaurant management, hospitality, culinary or minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Successful completion of the Management Training Program for internal promotes
  • Experience in both front of house and back of house management preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
