Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in restaurant management, hospitality or culinary or minimum 3 years restaurant management experience
- Completion of Management Training Program if internally promoted
- Experience in front of house and back of house management preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams
- Results oriented approach
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Safety focused
- Knowledge of P&L, budgeting and inventory
- Proficient with MS Office, KDS and business systems
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or 4 year degree in restaurant management, hospitality, culinary or minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
- Successful completion of the Management Training Program for internal promotes
- Experience in both front of house and back of house management preferred
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
- Proven leadership ability
- Results oriented
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills within defined authority
- Safety mindset
- Knowledge of P&L, budgeting and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Office, KDS and business systems
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling, sanitation, alcohol safety, and security preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee and train employees on all aspects of restaurant operations
- Focus on kitchen staff and kitchen operations management
- Embrace and serve as a role model for the mission, vision and values of Famous Dave's
- Identify, support and execute plans to achieve goals for people, sales and profits
- Ensure adherence to all company standard operating practices and procedures
- Confirm compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manage budgeting, inventory and P&L responsibilities
