Job Requirements
- no formal education required
- standing for entire shift with significant movement required throughout shift
- ability to walk, bend, stoop, turn, and twist the upper body
- capable of lifting objects up to 50 pounds
- good control over motor skills
- ability to grasp and handle very hot plates loaded with food products
- capacity to work in a kitchen environment that may reach temperatures of 110 degrees during warm seasons
Job Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years restaurant management experience
- ability to manage multiple areas of the restaurant simultaneously
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in handling guest complaints and crisis situations
- proven ability to operate within budget constraints
- skills in staff training and development
- knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- ensure high quality of operations by adhering to company standards including preparation/service procedures, health, safety, and sanitation standards
- maintain effective staffing levels through effective management of employee retention and recruitment
- identify performance problems and develop and implement a plan of action to correct the problem
- effectively handle all guest complaints and crisis situations
- operate within established P&L budgets to meet or exceed the plan
- ensure the timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks
- maintain all assets of the company through an effective repair and maintenance program
- actively participate in the community to increase sales and enhance awareness of the restaurant
