Job Requirements

  • College degree not necessary but preferred
  • Bi-lingual English plus Spanish is required
  • 5 plus years experience in an executive kitchen position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends
  • Must possess culinary creativity
  • High volume foodservice operations experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of local state and federal food sanitation regulations
  • Comfortable providing direction and supervision to kitchen staff
  • Food Handler/Safe Serv certification is required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Monitor food standards, costs, and safety continuously
  • Lead the kitchen team, resolving conflicts and motivating staff during busy shifts
  • Manage scheduling, pricing, and cost control effectively
  • Organize work schedules, shipments, and cleaning schedules meticulously
  • Solve problems quickly including employee conflicts, customer complaints, and stock issues
  • Communicate clearly with staff and customers regarding standards and procedures
