The position involves leadership within the restaurant, including coaching team members on delivering excellent service, resolving guest issues, and maintaining high standards of operations and facility quality. A key focus is on operations leadership, where the individual will model the company’s values, train staff on new menu items and procedures, and manage staff schedules and performance. The role also encompasses financial responsibilities such as tracking sales, inventory, and helping to drive business growth through strategic planning and effective team management.
This position requires someone with previous kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant environment with a full bar. The ideal candidate should be results-driven, trustworthy, team-oriented, and have the ability to engage and develop team members. Computer proficiency is important, including knowledge of Excel, POS systems, and Windows. Physical stamina is also necessary, as the role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pre-employment screening is mandated post-offer. - Understanding of profit and loss statements, forecasting, and budgeting
Job Duties
- Coach teammates on how to deliver an excellent guest experience
- Coach teammates on how to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that impact the guest experience
- Positively interact and visit with guests and solicit feedback
- Handle and follow up on guest concerns escalated from teammates
- Communicate with vendors and support maintenance of restaurant facilities
- Model standards and expected behaviors for restaurant managers and teammates
- Write schedules for department staff and deliver performance feedback
