Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in kitchen or food production
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry food trays up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a kitchen or food production environment
  • High school diploma required
  • some college or degree in culinary arts, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Problem solving skills
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations: oversee daily back-of-house tasks ensuring high quality and efficiency
  • Staff management & development: recruit, train, and develop kitchen team
  • Financial oversight: manage food costs, payroll, inventory, and productivity
  • Food safety & quality control: ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Inventory & supply management: order and control supplies to minimize waste
  • Team leadership: motivate, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback
  • Maintain equipment & facility standards: schedule maintenance and ensure cleanliness
