Job Requirements

  • Previous kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant with a full bar
  • computer knowledge including Excel, Windows, and POS systems
  • results-driven, trustworthy and team-oriented
  • ability to engage and develop team members and coach in adherence to company policies
  • passion for the hospitality industry and focus on guest and employee experiences
  • ability to stand for 10 hours and lift 50 lbs
  • pre-employment screening required including drug test, criminal background check and verifiable employment references

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant with a full bar
  • computer knowledge including Excel, Windows, and POS systems
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • ability to engage and develop team members
  • passionate about hospitality and creating excellent guest experiences
  • knowledge of profit and loss statements and budget forecasting

Job Duties

  • Coach teammates on delivering excellent guest experience
  • coach teammates on anticipating, identifying, and resolving guest experience issues
  • interact positively with guests and solicit feedback
  • handle and follow up on escalated guest concerns
  • ensure quality of restaurant facilities by coordinating with General Manager and vendors
  • model standards and expected behaviors for managers and teammates
  • write schedules for department staff
  • motivate teammates to improve performance
  • deliver positive and constructive feedback
  • develop leadership skills in self and teammates
  • establish plans and communicate strategy to meet inventory, sales, and guest satisfaction goals
  • review sales trends and initiate programs to grow sales
  • conduct administrative duties in support of restaurant operations
