Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant kitchen management or related field
  • knowledge of food safety and handling regulations
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen management or similar leadership role
  • strong knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • ability to manage and develop a team
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • familiarity with inventory and cost control
  • experience conducting employee performance evaluations
  • leadership skills to enforce policies and maintain high standards
  • ability to manage schedules and labor effectively

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of restaurant
  • directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including conducting evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
  • conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing work for Back of House employees including scheduling and task assignment
  • training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment
