The Kitchen Manager role at Bubba's 33 is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all Back of House operations. This includes purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in accordance with established recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for scratch-made food and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met or exceeded. This role carries a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000.00 to $80,000.00, reflecting the level of responsibility and leadership expected.

As Kitchen Manager, you will supervise the entire food preparation process, managing the performance and development of Back of House employees through coaching, training, and formal evaluations. You will ensure compliance with employment policies, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, and manage food costs effectively by tracking waste and controlling kitchen labor. An essential part of your duties will also include scheduling staff, directing their daily tasks, and fostering a safe, fun, and clean work environment that aligns with Bubba’s 33 core values.

In this role, you will conduct quality checks such as Taste and Temp evaluations, oversee proper storage and maintenance of food items and equipment, and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong and capable team. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of restaurant
  • directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
  • managing performance of Back of House employees including conducting evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
  • conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing work for Back of House employees including scheduling and task assignment
  • training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment
