We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring our food and beverage service meets the highest standards. The Kitchen Manager will collaborate closely with the General Manager to manage all food and beverage operations at the hotel. This position offers an hourly wage and includes the potential for overtime depending on business demands. The work schedule will be varied, encompassing early mornings and evening shifts tailored to the volume of service.

The Kitchen Manager's responsibilities include managing culinary staff, overseeing the preparation of a contemporary and approachable menu that includes both breakfast and dinner offerings with a mix of classic and innovative dishes. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in line cooking, meal preparation, catering for meetings and groups, product ordering, and inventory control. Prior managerial experience is essential as the candidate will lead a team of culinary employees ensuring smooth kitchen operations and maintaining quality standards. Experience in baking is considered an advantage but not a strict requirement. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • multiple years of culinary experience including line cooking and prep
  • prior experience managing a culinary team
  • experience with inventory management and product ordering
  • ability to work varied shifts including early mornings and evenings
  • strong organizational and communication skills
