Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or culinary certification preferred
- minimum 3 years relevant kitchen management experience
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to create staff schedules
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- capable of standing for long periods
- able to ascend and descend stairs
- effective communication skills
- capable of handling workplace stress
- legal eligibility to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school is preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- in-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- strong leadership and mentoring skills
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- create weekly cook and dough schedules to accommodate business flow needs, individual staff schedules, and labor targets
- follow the Hash Kitchen recipe book with exactness and precision
- lead weekly back-of-house meetings and schedule shift manager and trainer meetings as needed
- work closely with and train cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to Hash Kitchen standards
- monitor training processes and meet regularly with trainers to discuss staff member progress and goals
- lead quality control, food safety procedures, and restaurant food safety guidelines
- check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
