Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years of kitchen supervisory experience
- knowledge of health and safety standards
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Assist the chef in food service and kitchen operations
- provide direction to kitchen staff to ensure completion of duties
- monitor kitchen for compliance with health and fire regulations
- ensure all food handling meets state, federal, and local standards
- implement and manage kitchen policies and procedures
- fulfill line cook duties when needed
- maintain correct product storage temperatures
- update recipe books with menu changes
- ensure use of daily prep and yield sheets
- participate in monthly inventory process
- identify and resolve inventory, system, and staffing issues
- monitor labor costs to meet budget goals
- oversee training and development of kitchen staff
- participate in hiring and staff evaluations
- complete 30-day and annual employee reviews
