The Kitchen Manager role at Prime Pizza is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of the establishment. Job Requirements

  • Be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and crowded environment
  • Follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff to promote within
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business or a related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • Experience training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • Experience in ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High level of accountability
  • Excellent basic math skills and proficiency in operating a POS system

Job Duties

  • Deliver the highest level of execution for guest experience, product quality, and hospitality
  • Ensure kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
  • Lead and model best practices for the kitchen team in collaboration with the General Manager
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to address improvement opportunities and recognize achievements
  • Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness and safety in compliance with health regulations
  • Manage purchasing, inventory levels, and food handling practices
  • Develop and maintain recipes and production standards
  • Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
  • Support payroll and timekeeping processes
  • Drive financial performance by managing food and labor costs
  • Conduct inventory audits and review monthly financial statements
