The Kitchen Manager role is pivotal within the hotel’s culinary operations. This position oversees the daily functioning of the kitchen, ensuring that food quality, sanitation, safety, and service standards are consistently met or exceeded. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the Kitchen Manager leads a diverse team of kitchen employees, facilitating smooth workflows and maintaining efficient kitchen operations. Key responsibilities include inventory and cost control, staff training and supervision, enforcing food safety regulations, and coordinating with front-of-house teams to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen with supervisory responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring food quality and safety standards
- Support the Executive Chef in leading and managing kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate food service
- Train new employees on food preparation, safety, and kitchen protocols
- Develop and execute opening and closing procedures including cleaning and equipment maintenance
- Handle employee performance issues and provide coaching and feedback
- Monitor food preparation methods and presentation for consistency
- Support banquet and catering preparation and execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Prepare and submit reports related to payroll, inventory, and food cost
- Conduct line and temperature checks to ensure food safety
- Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures regarding kitchen operations
- Interview candidates and participate in hiring processes
- Participate in departmental and hotel training programs
- Attend meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by management
