Job Duties

  • Manage and oversee kitchen staff
  • control flow and ticket times
  • write prep sheets and oversee food preparation
  • oversee food specs
  • maintain correct food temperatures and conduct quality assurance checklists
  • verify and teach portion control
  • write kitchen schedules and update labor pro forma
  • place and receive food orders
  • train kitchen staff on all aspects of the restaurant
  • store food products in compliance with safety practices
  • conduct bi-weekly inventories
