Job Duties
- Manage and oversee kitchen staff
- control flow and ticket times
- write prep sheets and oversee food preparation
- oversee food specs
- maintain correct food temperatures and conduct quality assurance checklists
- verify and teach portion control
- write kitchen schedules and update labor pro forma
- place and receive food orders
- train kitchen staff on all aspects of the restaurant
- store food products in compliance with safety practices
- conduct bi-weekly inventories
