The role of Kitchen Manager at Hopdoddy involves ownership of all kitchen operations within their respective restaurant locations. Job Requirements

  • Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
  • Experience as a Kitchen Manager in full service or fast casual restaurant
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, directing, and motivating a team
  • Exposure to profit and loss and sales building highly desirable
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and walk during entire workday
  • Must be able to work under high stress physically, mentally and emotionally
  • Proficient in use of office and restaurant equipment
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supports Head Trainer to ensure training materials available are consistently and effectively used in team member training
  • Coaches, trains and develops Back of the House team in their job roles for all work areas
  • Ensures all new team members attend orientation and supports trainers each day of training
  • Delivers profitability by operating within cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines
  • Maintains accurate records and paperwork and supports General Manager with performance reviews and administrative duties
  • Understands and promotes the Hopdoddy culture and participates in marketing and sales initiatives
  • Ensures food is prepared according to company standards and maintains food safety and sanitation protocols
