As a Kitchen Manager at Applebee's, you will oversee all back-of-house operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of kitchen activities. Applebee's seeks candidates with prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally with 2-3 years in supervisory or managerial roles such as kitchen manager, back-of-house manager, general manager, shift lead, or district manager. The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or equivalent and holds valid certifications related to responsible alcohol service and food safety as required by state law. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and move actively for up to 12 hours and the capability to lift between 25 to 50 pounds. Reliability and a valid driver’s license are also essential to fulfilling this role.
