The restaurant emphasizes a culture that values teamwork, dedication, and the celebration of diverse personalities, making it a great place for individuals passionate about hospitality and culinary arts to grow their careers.

The role of Kitchen Manager at Outback Steakhouse is pivotal within the restaurant's operations, serving as the driving force behind the successful execution of Back-of-House activities. This leadership position involves much more than managing kitchen tickets; it requires mentoring and developing a team of culinary staff, fostering a positive and energetic kitchen environment, and ensuring every dish meets Outback's high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, capable not only of maintaining operational efficiency but also of inspiring and motivating their team to deliver exceptional service consistently.

As Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from recruitment and training of new staff members to maintaining rigorous health and safety standards. You will be responsible for managing inventory, controlling labor costs through effective scheduling, and reducing waste to support the restaurant’s financial goals. Additionally, this position requires active engagement with guests when needed, demonstrating a customer-focused mindset and assisting in resolving any concerns promptly and professionally. The role also includes supporting the General Manager with daily administrative tasks and contributing to local marketing initiatives to strengthen community ties.

Outback Steakhouse offers a competitive pay structure and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company assistance, and opportunities for career advancement within Bloomin' Brands. The company embraces a vibrant, inclusive culture that values each team member’s individuality and encourages personal and professional growth.
