Job Duties
- Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
- monitoring and maintaining efficient food ticket times
- managing Back of House staff performance including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- developing key employees through daily feedback and one-on-ones
- conducting line taste and temperature checks to ensure food safety
- overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
- managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
- directing Back of House work schedules and tasks
- training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring
- creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values
