Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • monitoring and maintaining efficient food ticket times
  • managing Back of House staff performance including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • developing key employees through daily feedback and one-on-ones
  • conducting line taste and temperature checks to ensure food safety
  • overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • directing Back of House work schedules and tasks
  • training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring
  • creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values
