The role of Kitchen Leader at Chipotle is a dynamic opportunity for individuals passionate about food quality and leadership within a fast-paced environment. This position centers around preparing delectable meals with a focus on grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and ensuring that every dish meets the company’s high standards. Kitchen Leaders are responsible not only for cooking and prepping food to order but also for monitoring food waste, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the kitchen environment adheres to cleanliness, safety, and organizational standards. This job combines hands-on food preparation with leadership duties, making it essential for the Kitchen Leader to set an example for Crew members. They play a critical role in training and developing future Kitchen Leaders, fostering teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Chipotle offers competitive pay for the Kitchen Leader position, with a base salary range of $19.70 to $21.91 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips. Beyond compensation, the company provides a robust benefits package, including tuition assistance, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, free food, and opportunities for advancement. Approximately 80% of Chipotle managers began their careers as Crew members, highlighting the potential for growth and career development within the company. Chipotle is committed to continuous learning, evolution, and leadership in sustainable business and food practices, making it an excellent place for individuals eager to build a meaningful career in the fast-casual dining industry while contributing to a larger mission of better food and better communities.
