The position of Kitchen Leader at Chipotle offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food quality, team leadership, and fast-paced environments. As a Kitchen Leader, you will be at the heart of the restaurant's culinary operations, responsible for preparing top-notch food in line with Chipotle’s "Food With Integrity" philosophy. Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring that food safety and quality standards are rigorously followed, maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen environment, monitoring inventory and food waste, and keeping kitchen equipment in excellent working order.

The Kitchen Leader plays a vital role in fostering teamwork between front-of-house and back-of-house staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment. This full-time position offers competitive compensation with base pay ranging approximately from $18.40 to $20.46 per hour, alongside digital tips. Job Requirements

  • Have restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
  • Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving food quality issues
  • Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
  • Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
  • Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair and making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
  • Ensuring that the kitchen and all Crew members meet necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
  • Filling out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
