Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its commitment to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, and real food made with wholesome ingredients, free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as an innovator and industry leader in the food sector, Chipotle operates numerous restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Chipotle's dedication to digital innovation, sustainability, and offering accessible, high-quality food positions it as a forward-thinking leader in the fast-casual dining segment. The company embraces diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, enhancing its workforce with individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences.

The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and leadership in a vibrant fast-casual restaurant setting. The Kitchen Leader is entrusted with ensuring that the food served meets Chipotle's exacting quality and safety standards, which involves preparing, grilling, and sautéing ingredients with precision and care. This role also requires the individual to manage inventory, monitor food waste, and maintain hygiene and safety within the kitchen environment. Training and developing crew members toward leadership positions is a key aspect of this job, emphasizing mentorship and the cultivation of future Kitchen Leaders. The role demands acting as a role model on the floor, effectively communicating with team members and customers, and ensuring the seamless operation of kitchen equipment. Chipotle values leaders who are proactive and ready to pitch in wherever needed to meet the restaurant's goals and deliver excellent customer experiences every day. This position is ideal for those who embrace Chipotle's Food With Integrity ethos, possess restaurant experience, and seek growth opportunities within a company committed to innovation and social responsibility. Compensation is competitive and coupled with a comprehensive benefits package that supports personal and professional development. This is a full-time position where individuals can grow within a dynamic, inclusive company culture that values teamwork, culinary excellence, and a passion for creating better food for all.
