Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is an innovative and fast-growing restaurant company that is committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made from wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a leader in the fast-casual dining segment, Chipotle operates hundreds of restaurants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many restaurant chains of its size, Chipotle owns and operates all its stores in North America and Europe, which ensures it maintains consistent quality and service standards across its locations. The company's mission centers around making better food accessible to everyone, fostering meaningful conversations about the future of farming and food, and embracing sustainable business practices and technological innovation to lead the industry forward.

Chipotle is highly focused on creating an inclusive, values-driven, and people-first workplace culture. For employees with disabilities, Chipotle provides reasonable accommodations and maintains an accessible recruitment process. Employees at Chipotle are passionate about delivering an excellent guest experience and are part of a collaborative environment where teamwork and personal development are prioritized.

The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food quality, teamwork, and leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The position is full-time and is designed for candidates who are eager to learn the art of preparing delicious food, including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This role involves ordering food, monitoring kitchen inventory, managing food waste, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

In addition to food preparation and kitchen management, the Kitchen Leader serves as a mentor and trainer to fellow Crew members, helping them develop skills to become future Kitchen Leaders. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to enhance operations and the overall customer experience. Leadership responsibilities include promoting safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Chipotle supports the growth and advancement of its employees, with approximately 80% of managers beginning their careers as Crew members. The company offers a range of employee benefits including tuition assistance, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and competitive compensation. This role is ideal for someone with prior restaurant experience who values quality food and is seeking a career path in the restaurant industry with opportunities for professional growth.
