Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that is committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food. Established as a leader and innovator in the food industry, Chipotle operates restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many of its competitors, Chipotle owns and manages all its restaurants in North America and Europe, which allows it to maintain rigorous quality standards and service consistency. The company is deeply dedicated to providing wholesome food free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, emphasizing sustainability, digital innovation, and technology to enhance customer experiences and food accessibility. Chipotle is also known for its strong company culture centered around inclusivity, diversity, and a people-first approach, where every employee is respected and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Chipotle is currently seeking a Kitchen Leader to join their team and help further its mission of making better food accessible to everyone. This is a dynamic role that involves not just food preparation, but also leadership, training, and maintenance responsibilities. As a Kitchen Leader, you will learn key culinary skills such as grilling meats and sautéing vegetables to ensure the food that leaves the kitchen is delicious and prepared to Chipotle’s high standards. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, including food quality, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and sanitation standards. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, with a strong focus on teamwork and fostering a positive work environment. You will play a critical part in mentoring crew members, helping them develop their skills to become future Kitchen Leaders. Working at Chipotle means being on your feet, fulfilling your station’s responsibilities, assisting teammates, and contributing to a great customer experience. The Kitchen Leader position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive company that values advancement, with about 80 percent of managers having started as crew members. Chipotle also offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition assistance, free meals, and medical insurance. This role is perfect for those passionate about quality food, sustainability, and team leadership in a fast-paced, innovative food service environment.
