Established with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, Chipotle has redefined the fast-food experience by focusing on food integrity and a customer-first approach. Operating in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is unique among its peers as it owns and operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe, ensuring uniformity in quality and service. With a passionate team of employees striving to provide an exceptional guest experience, Chipotle remains a leader and innovator in the food industry, pushing the boundaries in the use of digital technology, sustainable business practices, and social responsibility.
Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where every employee is empowered and respected. The company is deeply committed to making its food more accessible to everyone while maintaining its purpose-driven approach towards business and community impact. Chipotle offers comprehensive opportunities for career growth with a high percentage of its management team having started as crew members, reflecting its focus on internal development and advancement.
The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle offers a unique opportunity to grow within the company while directly contributing to the quality and operational excellence of the restaurant. As a Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, ensuring every dish meets Chipotle's exacting standards. This position is critical in maintaining food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and equipment upkeep, all while fostering a strong team dynamic and excellent customer service.
You will play a pivotal role in training and mentoring crew members, helping them develop into future Kitchen Leaders, expanding Chipotle's culture of leadership and teamwork. The role involves multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing kitchen goals, and supporting your teammates to deliver outstanding guest experiences. With a base pay ranging from $17.15 to $19.06 per hour plus digital tips, this position offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes tuition assistance, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holiday closures.
As part of Chipotle's mission to cultivate a better world, Kitchen Leaders do more than just cook food—they embody the company’s Food With Integrity philosophy, actively contribute to sustainable practices, and help build a better food future.
