Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a renowned leader in the fast-casual dining industry, dedicated to cultivating a better world through responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients. Established with a mission to redefine the fast-food experience, Chipotle has successfully integrated sustainable business practices, digital innovation, and a commitment to quality that transcends the typical quick-service restaurant. With a presence across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle stands out as the only restaurant company of its size owning and operating all its locations in North America and Europe. The company is deeply rooted in values that emphasize diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a culture that celebrates and supports all individuals. Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy guides its approach to food preparation, ensuring that customers receive meals made with real, responsibly sourced ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle is a vital position within the restaurant that focuses on ensuring the preparation and quality of food served to customers meet the company’s high standards. As a Kitchen Leader, you will be instrumental in maintaining the kitchen's operational excellence, from preparing tasty meals by grilling meats and sautéing vegetables to managing food inventory and minimizing waste. The role involves being a consistent role model for the crew, especially others who aspire to become future Kitchen Leaders, by providing guidance and training. You will also be responsible for ensuring the kitchen environment is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards, contributing to a seamless customer experience. Beyond food preparation, this position encourages leadership development as you foster teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crew members, support effective communication, and uphold sanitation and equipment maintenance protocols. This is a dynamic, on-your-feet role that demands attention to detail, a passion for great food, and a dedication to promoting a collaborative work environment. Chipotle offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your professional growth and personal well-being, including tuition assistance, health insurance, and paid time off, along with free meals during shifts. Joining Chipotle as a Kitchen Leader means becoming part of a larger mission to make better food accessible to everyone while advancing your career in a company that values innovation, sustainability, and community involvement.
