Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its commitment to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Since its founding, Chipotle has evolved the fast-food experience by focusing on quality, sustainability, and innovation, reshaping the industry standard and promoting a mission to make better food accessible to everyone. With restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle remains unique in owning and operating all its locations in North America and Europe, ensuring consistent quality and values through every customer interaction.

At Chipotle, the culture is centered around people and purpose. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion while fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace that encourages professional growth. Chipotle supports the philosophy of Food With Integrity, emphasizing ethically sourced ingredients and sustainable farming practices. Employees are integral to this mission, as the company cultivates a work environment where teamwork, respect, and innovation thrive.

The Kitchen Leader position at Chipotle represents a vital leadership role within the restaurant. As a Kitchen Leader, you will gain hands-on experience in preparing high-quality meals, including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables to perfection. You will be responsible not only for ensuring that the food served meets Chipotle's rigorous standards for taste and quality but also for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen. This role demands a proactive approach to managing inventory, minimizing food waste, and ensuring kitchen equipment is well-maintained and functional.

Moreover, the Kitchen Leader acts as a role model and mentor to crew members, training and developing them to become future leaders within the kitchen team. This leadership role requires excellent communication skills to foster a collaborative environment between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, all while delivering outstanding customer service. On any given shift, Kitchen Leaders are active and hands-on, constantly ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Chipotle offers an inclusive company culture and comprehensive benefits that support employee well-being and growth. Benefits include tuition assistance for higher education, free meals during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, and competitive compensation. Furthermore, many managers at Chipotle started as crew members, illustrating the company's commitment to internal advancement opportunities.

This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about food, sustainability, and leadership. Chipotle is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities during the hiring process. If you share a passion for quality food, teamwork, and leadership growth, the Kitchen Leader position offers a meaningful and dynamic career path in one of the fastest-growing restaurant companies worldwide.
