Founded in the United States, Chipotle operates restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, and is uniquely positioned as a restaurant company of its size that owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe. With a passionate team focused on providing an exceptional guest experience, Chipotle is a leader and innovator in the food industry. As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, delicious food in a fast-paced environment. This position requires you to master food preparation techniques such as grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and cooking to order, always maintaining the highest standards of taste and safety. Beyond cooking, the Kitchen Leader is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations including cleanliness, organization, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. This role not only focuses on delivering excellent food but also emphasizes leadership by developing and training crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader is instrumental in fostering a collaborative team environment between the back-of-house and front-of-house crews, promoting teamwork, and ensuring superior customer service and throughput. While on duty, Kitchen Leaders are actively engaged, multitasking across various stations and proactively tackling tasks that support overall kitchen efficiency and quality. They also ensure strict adherence to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, prioritizing food quality and safety protocols.

This is an opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and leadership, offering career advancement potential, extensive training, and exposure to a fast-casual foodservice model that is continuously evolving. The role is dynamic and physically active, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining a supportive and high-performing team. Chipotle values diversity and inclusion, creating a work environment where all employees can thrive and contribute their unique perspectives.

Compensation is competitive and supplemented with benefits such as tuition assistance, free food, medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and more. Chipotle is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels and offers reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities. If you are excited about leading teams, ensuring outstanding food experiences, and advancing your career in a fast-growing company dedicated to better food and better practices, the Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle is an ideal fit.
