The role of Kitchen Leader at Chipotle is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality food that aligns with the company’s standards. As a Kitchen Leader, you will learn essential culinary skills such as grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and preparing delicious meals that adhere to Chipotle's kitchen procedures. This position requires a hands-on approach where you will manage food quality, monitor inventory and food waste, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen. The Kitchen Leader also plays a key role in training and developing crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, fostering a positive and efficient team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house staff. Your leadership will help champion Chipotle’s mission to create exceptional customer experiences by ensuring smooth kitchen operations and collaboration. The role is fast-paced and demands being actively involved on the kitchen floor, handling multiple tasks, equipment monitoring, and addressing any issues promptly. Chipotle provides a starting pay range of $18.20 to $20.26 per hour plus eligibility for digital tips, reflecting skill level, experience, and education. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a leading restaurant company dedicated to sustainable and ethical food service practices, where approximately 80 percent of managers began their careers as crew members.
