As a Kitchen Leader, you will master the art of preparing delicious, high-quality dishes by learning how to grill meats, sauté vegetables, and follow precise kitchen procedures. A Kitchen Leader is responsible not only for food preparation but also for managing kitchen operations including inventory monitoring, waste reduction, equipment maintenance, and sanitation. Leadership within this role extends to developing and training Crew members to break out into future Kitchen Leaders, fostering teamwork and a positive culture behind the scenes. The Kitchen Leader actively supports collaboration between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Job Duties
- Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
- Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving food quality issues
- Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house crew and front of house crew
- Developing crew members to be future kitchen leaders
- Communicating with crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
- Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
- Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair and making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
- Ensuring that the kitchen and all crew members meet necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
- Filling out material safety data sheets (MSDS) and inventory rotation (FIFO)
