Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant company dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded on the principle of Food With Integrity, Chipotle has disrupted the fast-food industry by introducing a unique approach focused on quality, sustainability, and transparency. Operating restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is notable for being the only restaurant company of its size that owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe. As an established leader and innovator in the food industry, Chipotle prides itself on a passionate workforce committed to offering an outstanding guest experience, utilizing digital innovation, and implementing sustainable business practices. Chipotle is an equal opportunity employer celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels of the organization. The company fosters a culture that values world-class individuals and extends accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities, upholding high standards for workforce accessibility and participation. The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle offers the opportunity to develop hands-on culinary skills with an emphasis on grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and food preparation that ensures quality and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Leader, you will be crucial in maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene, all while managing inventory and equipment upkeep. This position requires a natural ability to lead and teach others, as you will train and mentor Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team in a fast-paced environment. Kitchen Leaders actively contribute to a dynamic team, not only overseeing cooking but also supporting front-of-house staff to guarantee an excellent customer service experience and smooth restaurant operations. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy working on their feet, embracing multitasking, and taking initiative towards tasks that improve overall efficiency and teamwork. Chipotle offers a rewarding benefit package including tuition assistance covering select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free food, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, competitive compensation, and significant potential for career advancement, with 80 percent of managers having started in Crew positions. Being a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle means joining a purpose-driven company focused on better food, better farming, and better communities, making a meaningful impact every day while developing your culinary and leadership skills.
