As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you will play an essential role in delivering the brand’s promise of quality food and excellent customer experiences. This full-time position involves hands-on food preparation activities such as grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, ensuring that every dish served meets Chipotle’s rigorous standards for taste and safety. Beyond food prep, Kitchen Leaders manage essential inventory control functions, carefully monitor food waste, and ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and fully operational state. Your role also includes leading and mentoring crew members, fostering a dynamic team culture that bridges front-of-house and back-of-house operations and supports crew development into future leaders. The position requires proactive problem solving, effective communication with team members and customers, and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards. Job Requirements

- Have knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Duties
- Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
- Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving food quality issues
- Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house crew and front of house crew
- Developing crew members to be future kitchen leaders
- Communicating with crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
- Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
- Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair
- Making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
- Ensuring that the kitchen and crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
- Filling out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
