As a Kitchen Lead at Earth Fare, you will play an integral role within the Prepared Foods Department, ensuring that all in-house prepared food products meet the company’s rigorous quality standards. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in prepared foods, kitchen operations, or food service
  • Leadership or lead experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Support team lead in coaching, training, and developing team members in the prepared foods department
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment
  • Clearly define and communicate expectations through punch lists and communication logs
  • Supervise and participate in the production of in-house prepared foods, ensuring proper presentation and display of high-quality, pre-made items
  • Maintain consistent quality control standards
  • Order and receive deliveries
  • Schedule staff
  • Review daily and weekly sales and movement reports, shrink reports, and emails
  • Respond accordingly
  • Conduct monthly department inventory
  • Develop and maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department, including all fixtures, storage areas, work stations, freezers, and coolers
