This position is for a kitchen helper who will play a vital role in assisting with the overall kitchen operations and maintenance within the company’s facilities. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing designated kitchen areas, tools, equipment, pots, and dishes to ensure a hygienic and efficient kitchen environment. The kitchen helper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties, including washing and scrubbing kitchen and dining areas, floors, refrigerators, ovens, and other kitchen appliances. In addition, they will be involved in the stocking and rotation of dining room amenities such as desserts, sandwiches, beverages, and condiments, ensuring that the dining area is always well-prepared and inviting for guests or employees.
As part of their duties, the kitchen helper will assist in loading, unloading, and organizing supplies and inventory, maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the smooth operation of kitchen supply management. The role demands strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards, which are paramount in maintaining the hygiene standards expected in a professional food service environment.
Ideal candidates for this role should have a minimum of six months experience in a kitchen or catering role within the food service industry, hospitality environment, or a remote lodge setting. Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills is required to ensure clear and effective communication within the team. Food safety certification, such as HACCP, is considered an asset and would enhance a candidate's suitability. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Wash, scrub, clean, and sanitize designated kitchen and dining areas
- Clean kitchen and dining room floors and tables
- Clean refrigerators, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
- Wash pots, dishes, glasses, cups, etc., after each meal and as required
- Deep cleaning as required
- Stock and rotate dining room amenities along with desserts, sandwiches, beverages, and condiments
- Assist in loading, unloading, and placing supplies and inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained
