The opportunity to join Boyd Gaming Corporation as a Dishwasher provides an essential role within the operational team at the company’s gaming and hospitality venues. This full-time position focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dishwashing areas. The Dishwasher will be responsible for sanitizing and cleaning dishes, silverware, and glassware efficiently, either by hand or using automatic dishwashing equipment. The role also includes washing pots, pans, trays, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, keeping kitchen equipment and surfaces spotless, and disposing of waste appropriately.
This role is vital for ensuring that the kitchen environment supports smooth food service operations while adhering to health and safety regulations. Applicants should be physically capable of standing or walking for the duration of their shifts and be knowledgeable about the correct use of cleaning chemicals and hygienic techniques to maintain optimal cleanliness standards. The position also requires the ability to handle lifting or moving objects of up to 50 pounds regularly. Employees may need to obtain or maintain specific licenses or certifications as necessitated by local laws or company policy.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good physical stamina to handle demands of the role
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
- Must be knowledgeable about proper chemicals and techniques used in the course of job duties
- Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Job Duties
- Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or automatic dishwasher
