Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping peeling and slicing ingredients
- wash peel and cut various foods such as fruits vegetables and meats
- dice and cut food for sauces soups gravies and stews
- set up work stations and ingredients according to recipes
- prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees
- label and stock all ingredients for organization and accessibility
- maintain contact with the butcher to ensure quality and freshness of products
- assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks and provide needed items
- carry food supplies equipment and utensils to and from storage and work areas
- help prepare and carve meats for buffet and banquet lines
- prepare set-up requirements for daily menu and specials
- prepare pizza with toppings
- perform other duties as assigned
