Job Qualifications

- understanding of timing, plate presentation, and what quality looks like in service
- clear communication skills to work well with chefs, cooks, servers, and managers
- strong attention to detail and ability to stay composed under pressure
- team player attitude with pride in helping others perform better
- strong sense of urgency without becoming careless or rushed
- dependability, professionalism, and ability to stay organized during busy shifts
- experience in private club, restaurant, or hospitality environment is a plus
Job Duties
- keep the line moving smoothly by coordinating communication between cooks and service staff
- review every plate before it leaves the kitchen for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and completeness
- catch missing items, incorrect sides, allergy concerns, and special requests before food hits the floor
- organize tickets and help pace service so tables are fired and finished correctly
- support chefs and cooks by helping maintain order during busy meal periods and club events
- communicate clearly and confidently with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams
- help reduce re-fires, delays, and avoidable mistakes through attention to detail and strong follow-through
