The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity for career advancement and leadership within our passionate Food Services Team. Reporting alongside a manager who coordinates and leads operational efforts, the Food Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff activities, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service, and supporting teamwork and employee development within the department. This role empowers you to take charge, lead by example, and inspire growth among your colleagues while directly contributing to the smooth and efficient running of food service operations.

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be hands-on in producing and maintaining employee work schedules, preparing production packets such as recipes and production sheets, and directing daily activities in the kitchen and service areas. Your responsibilities include enforcing food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring that food items meet menu specifications and are served appropriately. You will also be expected to train and mentor staff, monitor equipment maintenance, complete necessary safety and temperature logs, and contribute to a hazard-free working environment.

In addition to operational duties, the role requires competence in handling administrative tasks such as maintaining communication with staff, attending food service meetings, and occasionally performing cashier duties or filling in for absent employees. The role involves proactive problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment that promotes morale, teamwork, and operational efficiency. You will also play a key role in coordinating catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery, which may include working occasional nights or weekends.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to manage and supervise staff
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • capability to multitask and work under pressure
