We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Dishwasher to join our Back of House team. This role is essential in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring that all dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, and pots and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to comply with health and safety standards. A successful candidate must possess a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and attention to detail to sustain an efficient workflow during peak hours. The Dishwasher also plays an instrumental part in upholding our workplace culture, demonstrating professionalism in every task and fostering positive team collaboration.

In this position, the Dishwasher will work closely alongside cooks, servers, bartenders, and management to guarantee a continuous supply of clean equipment and contribute to a sanitized kitchen environment. Additional responsibilities may include assisting cooks with station duties when necessary, maintaining organized workstations, and the daily upkeep of cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. This role requires punctuality, consistency in wearing full uniform, and a readiness to engage in physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in hot and noisy settings.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • ability to stay on feet for extended periods
  • capacity to bend squat kneel and lift up to 40 lbs for short distances
  • ability to work with hot water in warm environment
  • adaptability to varying noise levels
  • effective communication skills with managers and team members

  • willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • arrive on time dressed in full uniform and prepared to work
  • collaborate directly with team members to meet all needs promptly
  • adhere to proper food handling procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • work closely with team members to uphold safety and sanitation protocols
  • collect dirty dishes from front of house and back of house areas
  • ensure uninterrupted supply of clean dishes glassware and utensils
  • restock areas for easy access by other staff members
  • assist cooks including taking on occasional station responsibilities
  • communicate effectively with team members and management
  • maintain organized and clean workstations including sweeping and mopping
  • contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by handling trash disposal
  • complete running and end-of-shift side work
  • promptly inform management of potential issues or concerns
