We are currently seeking a dependable and efficient Kitchen Dishwasher to join our Back of House team and contribute to our ongoing success. This role is fundamental to our operations as it guarantees that all dishes, silverware, utensils, glassware, and pots and pans are meticulously cleaned and sanitized, supporting the overall functionality and hygiene of our kitchen.

Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
ability to stand for extended periods
physical ability to bend squat kneel and lift up to 40 lbs for short distances
willingness to work in a warm environment with hot water
strong communication skills
ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
positive attitude and team oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

experience in dishwashing or kitchen support preferred but not required
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations
demonstrated reliability and punctuality
effective communication and teamwork skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
willingness to take on additional responsibilities if needed

Job Duties

arrive on time dressed in full uniform and prepared to work
collaborate directly with team members to meet all needs promptly
adhere to proper food handling procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces
work closely with team members to uphold safety and sanitation protocols
collect dirty dishes from both front of house and back of house areas
ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean dishes glassware and utensils for cooks servers and bartenders
restock areas for easy access by other staff members
assist cooks when required including taking on occasional station responsibilities
communicate effectively with fellow team members and management to ensure seamless operations
maintain organized and clean workstations including sweeping and mopping
contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by handling trash disposal
complete running and end-of-shift side work
promptly inform management of any potential issues or concerns
