Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to bend squat kneel and lift up to 40 lbs for short distances
- willingness to work in a warm environment with hot water
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- positive attitude and team oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- experience in dishwashing or kitchen support preferred but not required
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations
- demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to take on additional responsibilities if needed
Job Duties
- arrive on time dressed in full uniform and prepared to work
- collaborate directly with team members to meet all needs promptly
- adhere to proper food handling procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces
- work closely with team members to uphold safety and sanitation protocols
- collect dirty dishes from both front of house and back of house areas
- ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean dishes glassware and utensils for cooks servers and bartenders
- restock areas for easy access by other staff members
- assist cooks when required including taking on occasional station responsibilities
- communicate effectively with fellow team members and management to ensure seamless operations
- maintain organized and clean workstations including sweeping and mopping
- contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by handling trash disposal
- complete running and end-of-shift side work
- promptly inform management of any potential issues or concerns
