Job Duties

  • Oversee daily BOH operations including food safety and quality
  • Lead by example in pace, attitude, and adherence to Chick-fil-A’s core values
  • Ensure strong communication between front-of-house and BOH teams
  • Recruit, train, and coach BOH team members
  • Assign kitchen positions and create a positive, accountable culture
  • Enforce OSHA and Chick-fil-A safety and sanitation policies
  • Conduct temperature logs, checklists, and equipment inspections
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Oversee inventory ordering, receiving, and counts
  • Manage food cost and reduce waste strategies
  • Cultivate a team that models Chick-fil-A’s hospitality
  • Foster unity, respect, and purpose within the kitchen
  • Support store-wide goals with leadership team
