Job Requirements
- Mission of the BOH Director includes directing daily kitchen operations ensuring compliance with company standards
- Experience in production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability
- Interaction and coordination with marketing, front-counter and drive-thru leadership
- Prior management or supervisory experience in kitchen or restaurant settings is very helpful
- Ability to perform under pressure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Conduct formal and informal meetings with kitchen staff
- Track speed of service reports
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment promoting food safety
- Interview and recruit new kitchen personnel
- Develop and manage daytime and nighttime check lists
- Provide orientation, training, coaching, and evaluation for kitchen team members
- Manage labor cost efficiency and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee equipment cleaning, repair, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure proper opening and closing of the kitchen
- Manage produce ordering, truck orders, and transfer logs
- Foster positive recognition culture among team members
- Ensure adherence to food holding times and timers
- Create seamless transition from breakfast to lunch service
- Ensure kitchen staff finish tasks at appointed times
