Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certification
- Three years of responsible experience in kitchen/dining custodial work environment including one year supervisory experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License
- Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certification
- Three years of responsible experience in kitchen/dining custodial work environment
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of custodial tools and safety procedures
- Ability to type, prepare, and maintain office reports and records
- Ability to manage inventory
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good public and employee relations
- Basic first aid skills
- Knowledge of computer and Windows software
- Good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work assigned to kitchen/dining custodial personnel
- Oversees custodial duties including cleaning ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, floors, walls, doors, trash disposal, buffet bars, tables, chairs, and carpets
- Oversees cleaning of Resort and Casino kitchens, restaurants, buffet area, concessions and other areas as required
- Maintains an inventory and orders kitchen/dining custodial cleaning supplies
- Schedules kitchen/dining custodial staff daily cleaning duties
- Conducts orientation of new custodial employees
- Completes and processes employee disciplinary action reports and recommendations
- Conducts employee performance evaluations
- Prepares and maintains files, records, reports, and related documents
- Enforces Stewarding Department standard operating procedures
- Schedules the kitchen/dining custodial staff work shift schedule
- Controls emergency mechanical functions during evacuations and fires
- Monitors and signs off kitchen/dining custodial employee timecards for accuracy
- Ensures punctual and regular attendance of all team members according to policy
