We are currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Cook. This role is available both on a full-time and part-time basis, providing flexibility to fit various schedules. As an integral part of the back-of-house (BOH) team, the Kitchen Cook will be responsible for preparing food items that meet or exceed the restaurant's high standards for quality, presentation, and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet quantity and deadline requirements.

In this role, the Kitchen Cook will handle all aspects of food preparation, including following recipes, operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position demands attention to detail, sanitation awareness, and the ability to multitask effectively to support kitchen operations. The Kitchen Cook will also assist with restocking ingredients and supplies during the shift and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Attention to cleanliness and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • As part of the BOH team, you'll be responsible for food preparation that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards, and must be able to prepare all foods to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Cook food in a variety of ways
  • Prepare ingredients
  • Possess a solid sense of timing
  • Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Monitor stock and place orders for shortages
