As a Kitchen Cook at Cardenas Markets, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, fresh food daily for customers by following precise recipes and handling food products with care. This position demands dedication to quality, cleanliness, and customer service while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your responsibilities include preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using different kitchen equipment like broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers. Beyond mere preparation, you will carefully weigh, label, date, package, and rotate food products to ensure the highest safety and freshness standards are maintained.

While prior customer service and retail experience are desirable, the company offers training and support to help you grow and succeed. Physically, the role requires lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with continuous walking and standing throughout the shift.

Cardenas Markets offers a competitive pay scale ranging from $19.15 to $21.89 per hour, reflecting the importance of your role within the company.
