Job Requirements
- attaining a high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
- prior experience in a cooking or relevant culinary capacity
- basic knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation principles
- familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- possession of food safety certification is an advantage
- basic math skills for measuring and counting
- good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties
- create a diverse selection of dishes using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- arrange work areas with the necessary ingredients and tools for the task at hand
- arrange ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending, and similar tasks
- safely operate a range of kitchen tools and appliances, including knives, ovens, stovetops, and mixers, to prevent accidents or injuries
- prepare and cook dishes through baking, broiling, roasting, steaming, and other culinary processes
- present and distribute meals according to specific standards for their appearance and quantity
- abide by the recommended food safety protocols and store food in the appropriate manner
- maintain the hygiene of kitchen surfaces, machinery, and tools through cleaning and disinfecting
- provide outstanding service to customers while keeping a positive mindset
- ensure full adherence to Aramark's safety and sanitation policies
- ensure the security of organizational properties
