Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be 21 years of age for positions serving alcohol
- ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- culinary training or related experience
- strong creativity and passion for food preparation
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- basic knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- experience with catering operations preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- assisting in the preparation, display, and merchandising of all bistro foods for sale
- collaborating with deli/bistro team lead and executive chef to meet sales and product quality goals
- planning, developing and presenting diverse menus
- answering phones and taking special orders
- maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- engaging with customers by providing product information, selling suggestions, and sampling
- facilitating catered events from planning to completion
- working with catering director and executive chef on menu planning for catered events
- demonstrating excellent communication and salesmanship with clients and vendors
- maintaining open communication within deli/bistro and catering departments
- ensuring compliance with health department and food safety regulations
- controlling food cost by monitoring production and implementing reworks
- performing related duties as assigned
