The role of Kitchen Associate at Enmarket is integral to the smooth operation of the store’s food service areas. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation or customer service preferred
  • knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to perform basic math functions including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • provide a quick and outstanding experience for all customers
  • respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • engage each customer genuinely and thank them for their business
  • prepare food orders, including conducting a quality check to ensure customers’ orders are correct
  • maintain high standards of food service cleanliness and sanitation, food quality, and food and equipment safety by following appropriate policies and procedures
  • ensure all food service areas are adequately stocked throughout the shift
  • assist in maintaining inventory records and communicate needs to the General Manager
  • follow the correct vendor check-in procedures as defined in the operations manual and trained by manager
  • monitor and log refrigerator temperatures every 3 hours and report any issues to the General Manager
  • complete all shift duties and reports accurately, neatly, and timely
  • responsible for following all company policies, rules, and procedures
  • demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with customers and fellow employees
  • assume other duties and responsibilities needed to accommodate store operational needs
