The role of Kitchen Line Cook at NetCost Market is a pivotal position within our culinary operations. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the Kitchen Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food according to our established recipes and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for various food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, cooking menu items, and presenting dishes beautifully.   • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes to prepare basic components of dishes including chopping vegetables preparing sauces and creating meal portions
  • Cook menu items with care ensuring food is presented beautifully and in accordance with NetCost Market standards
  • Keep your workstation clean organized and sanitized according to company health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and consistent food quality
  • Ensure kitchen stations are stocked with necessary supplies and maintain proper inventory levels
  • Monitor food freshness and quality ensuring dishes are cooked and served at the highest standards
  • Adhere to nutrition sanitation and safety regulations to ensure food quality and customer satisfaction
