The role of Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher is vital to the culinary operations of Legend Senior Living. This position contributes directly to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and dining areas, supporting the Gold Leaf Dining experience that the company is renowned for. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring dishes, glassware, trays, and other food service equipment are impeccably cleaned and stored. In addition to dishwashing duties, this role involves cleaning preparation and service areas in accordance with health regulations, laundering table linens, waste management, and effective communication with fellow staff and residents alike. The role demands adherence to company policies, safety standards, and a commitment to promoting a positive work environment. Job Duties
- Operating the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
- Emptying dish machine and properly storing clean items
- Cleaning the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
- Taking all garbage to the dumpster
- Laundering table linens
- Communicating effectively with residents and staff
- Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
