The Kitchen Aide role is an essential part of Catholic Charities’ Nutrition Services, specifically aimed at supporting the meal preparation and service for older adults. This part-time position, typically requiring up to 24 hours per week, involves assisting the Nutrition Manager in preparing and serving hot meals that comply with food safety regulations mandated by Santa Clara County. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines in food storage, preparation, and sanitation, and ensuring meals are assembled and served according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
