Kitchen Aide - Senior Center (Multiple Opportunities)

Currently, the Hillsboro Community Senior Center is looking to hire for two Kitchen Aide positions: one part-time, approximately 25 hours per week with a consistent schedule, and one on-call position with hours that vary depending on operational demands. You will help prepare salads, side dishes, desserts, and manage the salad bar. In addition, the role involves washing dishes and kitchen equipment, refilling condiments and dining supplies, and assisting with waste disposal and recycling efforts. The work is predominantly indoors in a commercial kitchen environment and requires physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 pounds occasionally), carrying, bending, and other repetitive motions. The schedule for the part-time position is mainly Monday through Friday, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but some variation may occur based on the Center’s needs.
